Our success so far has been the result of the cooperation of our highly-collaborative, dynamic team. While the majority of our team is based at our offices, we have colleagues all around the world, so we are open to remote working and will consider you for opportunities at PortalOne if you currently live elsewhere. Some roles - for example, those based in our studios - are difficult to do remotely, but you can check the remote status of each role in the job description.
However, if you are open to relocating, we’d love to hear about that, so please make sure to note this in your application!

While often this comes down to the details of the immigration restrictions of the country that you’re looking to relocate to, as well as your personal circumstances, we do support visa sponsorship for new colleagues to come and work in the countries where we have offices. Additionally, we also provide relocation support - whether that be setting up a bank account, or helping you to find somewhere to live - to make the transition as seamless as possible for you.

We want applicants to think deeply about their skills and interests, and how they are aligned with our open roles at PortalOne. On this basis, we’d prefer that you apply for the role that best matches your experience and ambitions. (If, based on your application, we think you’d be better suited to another role, we will consider that in the application process).

CVs are always helpful to understand your specific experience, but cover letters are a great opportunity to let your personality shine. Culture fit is hugely important to us, so we’d love to hear more about who you are and how you’d fit with the team at PortalOne. While it isn’t absolutely essential, submitting a cover letter will only boost your progress in the application process!

Our careers process is thorough because we want you to be sure that the role, team, opportunity and growth potential are aligned with your career ambitions!
While there may not be a “one size fits all” process for our roles, a typical process may look something like this:
Submit application
Once you’ve submitted your application, we aim to follow up within a maximum of four weeks, if we’d like to move forward with your application. If you haven’t been successful this time, we’ll let you know within this same time frame too.
Initial call
Success! We’d like to speak with you to get to know you a bit better. This phase means one or two interviews (most likely via Zoom) with our HR team, and potentially some of the core members of the team that you’re applying to join. In this phase, we’re looking to get a feel for your skills and experience, as well as your approach to challenges, problem-solving and opportunities in roles that you’ve held previously. It’s also a great chance for you to ask any initial questions that you may have about the company, the role or the team. We’re all ears!
Skills-based taskWhether you’re asked to complete this phase depends on the role that you’re applying for (for example, this will be more relevant for technical roles). At this stage, you'll be asked to demonstrate your professional expertise by applying your skills to solving a specific challenge - one that is highly-relevant to the role that you’re applying for!
Meet the team
Where possible, we’ll arrange for you to visit a local PortalOne office where we can meet each other face-to-face! Of course, if you live abroad this meeting will be done via Zoom, where you’ll have the chance to meet some more of your future colleagues.

Our founders love the opportunity to meet with any future members of our team before we make things official. This final phase will be important for you, too: you’ll get to hear about the origins of PortalOne, our core values, exciting milestones in our future, as well as our mission and vision, directly from the people who established PortalOne.
